Lily Chou-Chou's music is so impactful. Putting all her songs into a playlist and listening to it might be harmful to my brain. I started getting giddyness & slight headache when it comes to Ai no Jikken. I wonder how Lawrence can put that song on repeat.
Talking about her music, they are written by Kobayashi Takeshi, and greatly influenced by French composer Claude Debussy. Debussy is one of the leading figures in Impressionist music. And this type of music creates a dreamy and hazy feel in it. No wonder I felt drowsy when listening to some of the songs...
Not only Lily Chou-Chou's music is great. The cinematography of the film All About Lily Chou-Chou is terrific too. Well of course, the cinematography is done by my favorite cinematographer Noburo Shinoda. So there's a high possibility that I'd like the cinematography of this film. The rice field scenes were excellent, especially the Shouting scene. The use of motivated lens flare was so daring & terrific! Here're some caps I found online. Now I feel like buying the DVD. Let's wait till I get richer =D
